Beth Hovekamp
My name is Beth Hovekamp. I am 54 years old and this is my 33rd year to teach. I received my Bachelors of Science Degree from Roberts Wesleyan College, Rochester, New York in 1986. I received my Masters of Science Degree from State University of New York, Brockport, New York, in 1990. During that time, I have taught 5th grade, in Rochester, New York, where I am originally from, 1st grade and Kindergarten at Reidland Elementary. I am presently at Lone Oak Elementary teaching 3rd grade. I am married to Neil Hovekamp, who retired from being the Guidance Counselor at Lone Oak Middle & Reidland Middle School. We have two daughters, Madelyn age 15 and my step-daughter, Emily. Some of my interests are Elvis, reading and traveling! I have been to all of the Continental States, Canada, Mexico, Athens Greece, Istanbul Turkey and several Greek Islands. I am a huge Elvis fan and have been to Graceland 11 times. I enjoy reading leadership and personal growth books such as John Maxwell, who is my cousin, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer-who I had the privilege of meeting, and Charles Stanley.
